PANDORA User Guide
We have put together a list of common questions and area guides to assist you in finding the information you require.
PANDORA, or the Player Automated Next Dimension Omni Reality Agency, is a complex player agency system which has been around now for several years. EVE players create content such as missions and campaigns as content for other players and to create storylines and pathways.
See our ABOUT page for full details
PANDORA is now powered by PANDAX.
PANDAX is the PANDORA Artificial Xtension - our own Artificial intelligence system coupled with Open AI and numerous modules. Collectively, this sytem collects all the latest news from New Eden and monitors PANDORA campaign and mission content and their outcomes. This combines to create capsuleer, corporation, alliance and faction histories based upon participation and actions within New Eden and creates profiling for these entities.
PANDAX can also be used to dynamically generate your campaign and mission descriptives due to knowing these histories and the protagonists and plotlines involved.
PANDORA has it's own built-in standing system - much like gaining and losing standings for NPC agents in EVE ONLINE itself.
As you take part in missions and campaigns, your standing goes up with the representing agency or agent. A maximum possible standing of 10 and a minimum possible standing of -10 can be reached with these entities. This standing affects your rewards by +10% and -10% to the base rewards and bonus rewards.
PANDORA is essentially an Agency system and a story-driven RP engine where participation matters.
As an EVE Partner, PANDORA gets exclusive access to PLEX, Skins, MCT and more. These items become part of the rewards system in PANDORA for campaings, missions and more. Raffle giveways also include these rewards.
Depending on reward availability, content creators at PANDORA can also request that these rewards are added to their campaigns and missions for user participation.
Campaigns, missions and New Eden news are watched by PANDAX.
Your participation in PANDORA content will affect your PANDORA profile, those you work for and against and the universe of New Eden.
Campaigns in PANDORA are user created and aimed at completing specific objectives.
These campaigns can last several days or until a specified desired outsome has been reached. Campaigns currently come in two possible forms:
- Combat campaigns
- FW Plexing campaigns
Campaigns may be setup by the creator so that the user must first enroll to take part, a simple button click to put names down on the participants list. Other campaigns may be setup where claims need to be manually made or PANDORA can handle it automatically when a campaign ends.
Other campaigns may require that the user is registered with the PANDORA Discord bot.
Campaigns can also be countered by another acting broker/agent. This effectively tells PANDAX, our Aritificial Xtension system, to create a campaign for the targets against those taking part in the current campaign.
Imagine the following possible scenario
You just created a combat campaign to invade enemy territory for your alliance members.
However, someone finds out about your campaign and releases its details to your intended target. This intended target then creates a counter campaign to kill your alliance members in the territory you had chosen to attack - a campaign forcing them to defend against your upcoming attack on a date that you had set but is now known by your enemy.
This then snowballs into assassination missions being placed on your fleet commanders, singling them out and breaking your offensive campaign. Following defeat, you place multiple supply missions to setup a production HQ nearby the enemy HQ.
Missions runners in evepandora are then ferrying minerals to you and before you know it you now have a fleet of battleships due to those you’ve never met providing you the materials in hours.
You now have a huge fleet prepared close to the enemy HQ. Another campaign to make a second attack is made and victory is yours.
The possibilities with PANDORA are endless.
In short, combat campaigns are HUGE!
Creators can give a combat campaign multiple settings within multiple areas during campaign creation, which are as follows:
- THE BASICS
- Title: All campaigns need a name
- Start and End Dates: Needed to kick off a campaign and end it
- Representing Agent / Agency: Yourself, or if you have the requirements it can be your corp or alliance. Those taking part in a campaign will gain standings with the representing agent or agency.
- Descriptive: A description of your campaign, use as much RP as you like and include the objectives. PANDAX can also create this for you!
AVAILABILITY + RESTRICTIONS
Specify who can take part in your campaign and a number of other settings. Anyone outside of your participation and restriction settings will not be tracked for participation by PANDORA
-
OBJECTIVES + TARGETS
Here the creator can specify who the target is for this campaign. PANDORA will track kills against specicified targets that fall within other objective focus settings.
-
REWARDS + BONUSES
Setup rewards for participation in your campaign here and bonus rewards for kills in specified systems, leaderboard rankings and more.
FW Plexing campaigns are aimed at one of two main objectives:
- Put pressure on a system to reach a contested % or capture it
- Defend a system from enemy pressure down to a contested %
The creator can specify which systems, constellations or entire regions are targets for plexing. A points system is specified whereby PANDORA will grant points on the leaderboard for those involved in defensive or offensive plexing depending on these points settings and on the occupying faction.
The setup for FW Plexing campaigns is as follows:
- THE BASICS
- Title: All campaigns need a name
- Start and End Dates: Needed to kick off a campaign and end it
- Representing Agent / Agency: Yourself, or if you have the requirements it can be your corp or alliance. Those taking part in a campaign will gain standings with the representing agent or agency.
- Descriptive: A description of your campaign, use as much RP as you like and include the objectives. PANDAX can also create this for you!
-
AVAILABILITY + RESTRICTIONS
Specify who can take part in your campaign and a number of other settings. Anyone outside of your participation and restriction settings will not be tracked for participation by PANDORA
-
OBJECTIVES + TARGETS
Here the creator can specify which systems can be tracked for plexing and who can take part. A points system can be used to determine offensive and defensive plexing for those involved.
You can also choose to end the campaign should any system within your settings change occupier.
-
REWARDS + BONUSES
Setup rewards for participation in your campaign here and bonus rewards for totals points, leaderboard rankings and more.
The campaign creator is responsible for paying out any rewards and they have multiple options for setting up campaign rewards, the first of which are BASE REWARDS, which are the primary rewards for taking part in a campaign. There is then the option to add BONUS REWARDS on top.
BASE rewards can be set as one of the following two options for all campaigns
- ISK per kill or ISK per plex per participant.
- An isk split pot from which participants get a share base don their involvement.
It should be taken into account that should the first option be taken, then you could soon end up paying out huge amounts of ISK for long campaigns.
BONUS rewards can take into factors things such as reaching a specified number of kills in a selected system to unlock 100m ISK as bonus. Or finish first on a leaderboard during a campaign to win a Typhoon class battleship. There are many options available for generating bonus rewards
PANDORA handles calculating all rewards as it updates campaign progression and, at the end of a campaign, final calculations are made after which six hours later participants can either claim there rewards OR the campaign creator and any other brokering agent are notified to issue rewards.
See the section below for more information on brokering agents.
Some campaigns will allow you to add additional rewards to them as a brokering agent - a third party offering rewards for taking part
PANDORA also auto-generates campaigns based upon specific situations, such as if an FW system is at rick of being lost it will create both an offensive and defensive campaign.
This type of campaign has an option to activate it by adding rewards. For campaigns that have been created by an acting agent or agency, an action is available on the campaign itself to Add additional rewards. This will allow the user to become a brokering agent and add their rewards and bonuses. As a brokering agent, the user will be notified when they need to issue rewards.
Taking part in a campaign is easy and smooth
If you meet a campaign availbility requirements, participation requirements AND have been carrying campaign objectives then you will be showing as a campaign participant and on the leaderboard.
Most campaigns are fully automated and will automatically track your participation. However, some campaigns may require you to enroll to take part.
Enrolling is done with a simple click of a button on a campaign or on the campaign listings.
If a campaign is against you sepcifically, there may be the option to create a counter campaign
Creating a counter campaign will allow you to add rewards and create a campaign, handled by PANDAX, directly opposing the campaign against you.
The Fleets, Stats + Doctrines area is designed for Fleet Commanders to setup fleet doctrines, have the PANDORA bot handle your fleet pings and for both Fleet Commanders and Fleet Members see the stats of the fleets they have been involved in.
In the Fleet Stats area you will also find monthly reward competitions. These rewards are announced in the monthly rewards area and in the monthly PANDORA announcements.
The fleet stats are breaks down performace data of Fleet Commanders and their fleets, including the performance of the FLeet Members within those fleets.
The main section of this area details these statistics in the following way:
- FLEET COMMANDERS
- Kills/Losses: Here you can see the total Kills and Losses for each Fleet Commander based upon the kills and losses of all of their fleets.
- ISK Destroyed:This section calculates the total value of assets destroyed and lost in each Fleet Commanders fleet. This is the value of the kill as see at zkillboard.
- Damage Dealt: Damage dealt is calculated based upon the total damage done to destroyed assets by members within fleets led by each Fleet Commander. Damage taken by each member killed is also shown.
